Youtube Brand Channel
You might be thinking “Who would want to watch a video about what I sell?” Well, the answer is probably a lot of people, but they won’t want to watch “commercials” about your products on YouTube. Instead, people will appreciate informative or entertaining videos about your products that illustrate how to choose the ones for their needs, how to use or fix them, and what special features are available
The reason why video is so effective in communicating your personal brand is because your audience will already feel like they’ve met you by the time the video is over. With video, you get a sense of who someone really is based on their voice, their face and their body motions. Video can support your branding efforts like no other medium on the web.
YouTube overall, right across all of its channels, has more than 1 billion subscribers. They have over 19 channels with more than a million subscribers each. So (those channels) are in a much stronger position to monetize what they’re doing. They’re not trying so much now to create the one-hit wonder and hope that, you know, next year they can come back with something else that’s good. They can really focus on just creating a (video) series.
